SOFIA GUIRGUIS

Sofia Guirguis is a second-year law student at Catholic University’s Law School, where she is expected to graduate in 2026. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside, where she studied from 2020 to 2022. Sofia has been a Law Clerk at McDonough Law since August 2024. Sofia is fluent in Arabic and is deeply committed to both her academic and extracurricular pursuits. She currently serves as the 2L Class Senator and will begin her term as President of the Middle Eastern Student Bar Association in the fall of 2026. She is also the Event Planner for the Latin American Law Student Association. Outside of her studies, Sofia is a passionate soccer fan and values spending time with her family. As an Egyptian-American, she takes pride in her heritage and incorporates her cultural perspective into all aspects of her academic and professional endeavors.
